Bhastrika is the breath of Vitality or breath of Energy. It will energise you powerfully for tasks ahead.
Practice three rounds 30 breaths. 15 breaths in 1 Mintute. 2 seconds Inhale, 2 seconds Exhale.
Build up the practice by increasing the number of rounds gradually.
-Bhastrika stimulates the heart and blood circulation.
-Increases "gas exchange" in each cell, producing heat in the system and getting rid of waste gases.
-It improves digestion, increases appetite and improves metabolic function.
-Bhastrika helps harmonizing the emotions and bringing inner calm.
-Bhastrika increases physical vitality and improves clarity of mind.
Those with high blood pressure, heart disease, should NOT attempt this practice.
