The 8 Limbs of Yoga - Yoga Deep - What Are The Eight Limbs?
When you hear the word 'yoga', most probably what first comes to mind is the image of super-bendy people in various mind-blowing poses, like one leg behind the head or even better, both legs behind the head!
However, the physical aspect of yoga, the postures (asana) is just one part of yoga. Yoga is a holistic system which is divided into 8 parts, as Deep briefly explains. The aim of yoga is not only to create a healthy physical body, but also a healthy, happy life.
In the following weeks, we will take a deeper look at each of these limbs, & how we can apply them in our lives to live in harmony with ourselves & others.
